When your guests arrive, supply colorful markers and name tag stickers for their pirate names. Guests can choose their own pirate names or you can provide a selection of pirate names for them to pick from to save time. Pirate names could include simple classics like Blackbeard, or find unique pirate names by searching the internet for authentic pirate names, or even use a website that generates pirate names by using your guests' own names. Once your guests are wearing their name tags with their pirate names, all guests should remember to address each other by their pirate names for the duration of the party.

Pirate cake is even more fun for kids in individual wrappers, everyone gets their own mini pirate cake! Follow the cupcake directions on your pirate cake mix, frost with buttercream and let guests write their pirate names on their individual pirate cake using black icing.
